Adult Swim just released a short teaser trailer for its upcoming DC animated series My Adventures with Superman. This is a quick first impression of the series, but it appears to present a classic version of Superman that fans will enjoy watching.

The animation has a manga-like style and I like what I see in this first look. It will be fun to watch this story unfold. As for the story, the “Mine” in the title refers to Jimmy Olsen, and will be told through his experiences.
The series is described as “a serialized coming-of-age story that catches up with 20-something Clark Kent, bright and driven Lois Lane and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and all they can accomplish together. as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.
The story follows Clark “as he builds his secret identity as Superman and explores his mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a top reporter, partners with photographer Jimmy Olsen to tell the stories that matter. Meanwhile, Clark and Lois fall in love… while Lois gets ever closer to discovering her secret identity! Our trio share adventures, defeat villains, stumble upon secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.
The boys star Jack Quaid Superman voices, with Alice Lee like Lois E Ishmael Sahid like Jimmy. The series will premiere this summer.
