SEGA may have won April Fool’s Day. To celebrate the holiday of pranks and mischief, they have released a very bold new game for Sonic fan, The assassination of Sonic the Hedgehog. This is a visual novel and point-and-click adventure in which the player takes on the role of a new character who is going to his first day at work on a train. Sonic and his friends then show up to celebrate Amy’s birthday with a murder mystery party. She looks pretty funny honestly. You can play it now on PC via Steam.

I know what you are thinking. There is no way this is real and the Steam page is indeed a purchase link Sound frontiers or something. I too was skeptical and actually downloaded it The assassination of Sonic the Hedgehog (it’s a free game) and played it for a few minutes just to make sure it wasn’t really an elaborate ploy. I don’t know how long this game will be available, so I’d rush to get it if I were you.
