Alec Baldwin: Then and now

Alec Baldwin, born April 3, 1958, is an actor whose work ranges from dark dramas to farcical comedies. He first made his mark on the soap opera ‘Knots Landing’ and then rose to fame playing Jack Ryan in ‘The Hunt for Red October’ (1990) and ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ (1992). He was nominated for an Oscar for the 2003 film “The Cooler”.

Alec proved his comedic skills after making the leap into television in 2006 with the show ’30 Rock’, created by Tina Fey, for which he won 2 Emmy Awards. His other notable roles include ˜Beetlejuice’ (1988), ˜Working Girl’ (1988), ˜Talk Radio (1988), ˜The Aviator’, (2004) ˜The Departed’ (2006) and the film franchise’ Boss Baby”. ‘. (2017-present).

In 2022 he was involved in a tragic shooting on the set of his film ‘Rust’. Halyna Hutchins and the cinematographer died in the crash.

Here, the actor is seen in a still from 1992’s “Prelude to a Kiss.” His piercing blue eyes and dark hair were the perfect look for the supernatural rom-com.
