There was a deleted scene that made the rounds on the internet from that movie which was labeled as “Worst Deleted Scene Ever Put on DVD”. But I disagree with that because I think it’s the best deleted scene ever put on DVD!

This scene is so funny and provided a much needed big laugh! This is the most memorable scene in the film and is what the film will always be remembered for, and it wasn’t even in the final cut of the film.

In the scene, Justin Whalin’s character Ridley Freeborn approaches a dragon egg, and as he approaches we hear the sound of an egg cracking which is clearly someone crumpling a soda can off screen. Then the egg disappears and is replaced by an orange marker with the place where the dragon should be. Then there’s a shot of a physical blue screen, along with some weird shot composition. The grand finale features an unfinished CGI dragon flying away.

You will love it! The video is all queued up and ready to watch below!
