Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler would like to collaborate on a drama for their next project

Actors Jennifer Aniston AND Adam Sandler are enjoying the first week of their latest movie, Murder mystery 2, which just came out on Netflix. The couple starred in the first Murder mystery movie in 2019, as well as the romantic comedy Just go with it in 2011, and are already looking forward to a future collaboration.

Aniston said The Hollywood Reporter to the Murder mystery 2 premiere in LA on Tuesday:

“We were saying that we wish we could do something serious together — not that it’s not serious, but more on the dramatic side. I just think he’s so exquisite as a dramatic actor as well and it’s not easy to swing back and forth.

Sandler, who has received acclaim for his heavier roles in recent years in Uncut gems AND feverish activityconfirmed he was the one too, saying of a drama project for the duo:

“That would be great. She’s amazing, she’s a soulful young woman, I’d love to do something different with her.

In the couple’s current adventure Murder mystery 2, their married couple characters have now started a private detective agency and find themselves at the center of an international investigation when a friend is kidnapped. Both Aniston and Sandler did a number of their own stunts, as Sandler joked that the most challenging stunt was simply “getting up after them.”

“I had hip surgery after I was done with the film, so I was in agony from every stunt. I wouldn’t tell anyone, but I was in pain with every move and I kept it to myself and finally I was like, ‘I gotta get that stupid surgery, man, I’m in trouble.’”

He continued to tease:

“By the way, Jennifer kicked me in the ribs in one scene and that wasn’t in the script. Enough said.”

They are a fun couple and I can’t wait to see whatever they do in the future!
