Disney has released three Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi animated shorts to watch that give fans a sneak peek at the upcoming Star Wars children’s series. The three short films are titled “Meet the Young Jedi”, “The Caper of the Creature of Lys”, AND “Kai’s Brave Droid Rescue” and introduce young Jedi and their friends on the planet Tenoo.

The series is set during the High Republic era and “follows young Jedi as they study the ways of the Force, explore the galaxy, aid citizens and creatures in need, and learn the invaluable skills needed to become a Jedi along the way.”
In “Meet the Young Jedi,” “Kai, Lys, and Nubs work together to battle a trainer droid at the Jedi Temple on Tenoo.”
In “Lys’ Creature Caper”, “Lys follows clues to retrieve a lovable creature running amok through the Jedi Temple.”
In “Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue”, “When his droid RJ-83 is in trouble, Nash calls Kai to help rescue him.”
Three more animated shorts will debut on YouTube in the coming weeks, followed by all six shorts being added to Disney+ on April 26.
Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi will debut on Disney+ and Disney Junior on May 4, also known as Star Wars Day.
