During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the star of Loki Owen Wilson he talked about seeing Ke Huy Quan win all the awards and then he anticipated that fans will love his character in Loki:

“I know. It’s so exciting. It was incredible. Every time I saw him win something, it was another speech that was just tearjerker and it was so moving. And even when we were working on it last summer – I think of his character that he plays in second season of Loki – I think people are going to love it, even though it was great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar for, I think people are going to love his character in that.

Quan previously spoke about what the Marvel franchise has been like for him:

“When our movie came out, the first phone call I got was from Kevin Feige. Who kindly asked me if I wanted to join the MCU and I called Jonathan and the gang, and said, you know what, nobody wants to hire me except Stephen Spielberg, George Lucas, The Daniels and Kevin Feige. It was incredible. 2022 is the year I will always remember because it is one of the happiest years of my life.”

The actor also shared a fun experience to work with Tom Hiddleston on the highly anticipated Marvel project:

“There was a particular day of shooting and [Tom] he found something on set, saw it, and said, “Oh my god, I can’t believe I’m working with Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and he was so nice and kind, and I was so excited and I said, ‘Oh my God, someone recorded this on tape! Please tell me someone recorded this on tape!’ It was amazing. We laughed so much and I didn’t want the filming to end.

Quan, who recently took home an Oscar, will also star in Russo Brothers’ The electrical stateabout “an orphaned teenager traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother.”

He will also team up with Everything everywhere all at once co-star Michelle Yeoh in the Disney series Chinese born in AmericaWhich “It follows Jin Wang, an average teenager who juggles his high school social life and his family life as an immigrant. When he meets a new foreign student at school, even more worlds collide in Jin’s life.

Hiddleston discussed the continuation of Loki’s redemption story arc in season two, saying, “I understand that audiences see good in Loki – they want him to overcome his internal and external obstacles. They want me to mend that relationship with his brother and become the hero that he can be. He realizes, “Actually, I can choose my path and choose to do the right thing.” Or I choose, at least, not to repeat the same old tricks I’ve been repeating over and over again in a cycle of trust and betrayal. It’s exciting to keep all the characteristics that make Loki, Loki, and at the same time play a slightly different music inside of him.

Director Kate Herron and head writer Michael Waldron they are going back to work Loki Season 2 along with head writer and executive producer Eric Martin. Knight of the Moon directors Aaron Moore AND Justin Benson they are also set to direct episodes of the series. The entire cast from Season 1 will be back in action.

Hiddleston will once again be joined by Owen Wilson like Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku as B-15 Hunter, Jonathan Major like Kang, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer, Sophie DiMartino like Sylvie, e Tara Strong like Miss Minutes.
