Billy Crystal’s 1997 Oscar opener is hands down one of my all time favorites! I miss watching Crystal host the Oscars! He was so damn good and so damn funny!

In this opening sequence of the 69th Academy Awards, Crystal appeared in a montage of clips from the five films that were nominated for Best Picture. That year, movies were Jerry Maguire, Splendor, The English patient, Secrets and liesAND Fargo. It is also featured in films such as Star Wars AND From north to northwest.
This is a great video to review, and if you’ve never seen it before, you’re in for a real treat!
