Josh Lucas faces a killer shark in THE BLACK DEMON trailer

Here is a trailer for an upcoming killer shark horror movie titled The Black Demonfrom which it derives Rambo: Last blood director, Adrian Grunberg. The film is based on a Mexican legend and stars Josh Lucas (The Incredible Hulk, Yellowstone) as a man who finds himself battling a massive Megalodon shark that terrifies him and his family. Wait till you see how big this shark is!

In the film, “When oilman Paul Sturges takes his family to Bahia Negra, the flagship of Baja and the site of Paul’s top-performing plant, the vibrant coastal Mexican city he once knew mysteriously collapsed. In the decrepit ghost town, the last inhabitants tell Paul that the offshore platform has awakened “El Demonio”. Frightened at the prospect of being left alone, the family follow Paul to the platform and soon after they get on, the man and the boat that nearly carried them are viciously attacked by a huge black shark.

It is explained: “This shark is unlike any other creature; a legendary shark, known as The Black Demon. He has reclaimed the local waters by aggressively protecting mother nature from human threats. He kills everything and charges the same oil rig over and over again, threatening to destroy it. Paul and his family are stranded with the few surviving men and now discover that explosive charges have been placed on the legs of the platform.

“Under constant attack by the giant monster and with time literally ticking, Paul must find a way to somehow get his family back to shore alive.”

Sounds like a fun and intense shark thriller! I like Josh Lucas and will definitely watch him! It will be funny! The rest of the cast includes Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho) AND Julius Cesar Cedillo (Hitman).

The Black Demon will be released exclusively in theaters on April 28, 2023. Enjoy the trailer!
