The film is described as a “sharply observed comedy” and the story is about a “novelist whose long-standing marriage is suddenly turned upside down when she hears her husband give his honest reaction to his latest book.”
The film is about trust, lies and the things we say to the people we love the most. It seems like the kind of movie that anyone who’s ever been in a relationship will be able to relate to. It definitely feels like the kind of heartwarming movie that will leave you feeling good after it’s over.
The film was written and directed by Nicole Holofcener and also stars Tobias Menzies (foreigner, game of Thrones, The crown), Michaela Watkins, Arian Moayed, Amber Tamblyn, David CrossAND John Berlin.
You hurt my feelings will hit theaters May 26, 2023.
