THE Star Wars film project that Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson came out found a new writer. That writer is Steven Knight, who is best known for his work on the fantastic series Peaky Blinders, Eastern promises, Spencer, and more. He’s a talented writer and it’ll be interesting to see what he does while he’s acting in it Star Wars universe!

Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy (Mrs. Marvel) is still attached to the stream, but there are no actual details to share about it yet. I guess if there are any details to reveal, it will happen at Star Wars Celebration in London in April.
All we knew about the story Lindelof was developing was that it was set after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but it wasn’t a direct continuation of the Skywalker Saga. The plan is to make a standalone film that could expand over the course of several other films, and there are familiar characters that may show up.
It is not known whether Knight will write the script delivered by Lindelof and Britt-Gibson or if he will start from scratch. However, the production of the film is expected to start shooting in February 2024 and the film is scheduled for release on December 19, 2025.
