Check out this awesome synthetic hand from Clone Robotics! The v18 synthetic hand is the latest iteration of their humanoid hand series and has some really cool features. With artificial muscle fibers and custom valves, this 1:1 scale replica of a human hand can move almost eerily like the real thing!
The coolest part about this hand is that it can be teleoperated by mimicking the motions of a real hand, and even trained from internet videos of human hand motions, which probably might not be the best thing. I mean, it’s the internet and who knows what kind of hand gestures it’s going to pick up from people on the internet.
Clone Robotics says it plans to sell these synthetic hands for around $2,800 each.
