The film’s stars were just starting out, many of them young teenagers, and most went on to make it big in Hollywood. But as it turns out, they weren’t the only Hollywood stars attending the film set.

The cast includes Corey Feldmann, Kerry Green, Jeff Coen, Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Martha Plimptonand recent Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan.

In an old interview with Empire, the cast reunited for the film’s 30th anniversary and Feldman described the excitement on the film’s set:

“‘Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure’ was shooting all over the lot, so Tim Burton and Paul Reubens would come. Dan Aykroyd too. Harrison Ford actually came and climbed around the caves with us at one point. Michael Jackson and his whole family were there was quite a lot. It was the case, you know? One downside was that I became friends with Michael and wore a Prince T-shirt every day.

It’s pretty wild! This is definitely a nice lineup of some of the biggest A-lists in Hollywood at the time. Not to mention that Steven Spielberg he himself co-wrote the film and also had a hand in making the film. I can only imagine how amazing it was to be on that set and in that environment. It definitely worked out to be a special film and fostered some incredible talent.
