In the 80s and 90s there were a fair number of them Dungeons & Dragons video games released. SNEG, a boutique publisher of long-lost titles, recently announced it will be carrying eight D&D treasures back for the fans. The list of games includes Heroes of the spear, Dragons of Flame, War of the Lance, Dragon Strike, Shadow Sorcerer, Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace, Fantasy empiresAND Death Keep. You can find more information below for each title, but they will all be available in March on GOG and Steam.
It is important to note that these games are not remasters or remakes. SNEG team is bringing these games to modern hardware for you to enjoy. Don’t expect the games to look amazing by today’s standards.
Speaking of bringing these games back, Oleg Klapovskythe Director of SNEG, shared:
I’m an old D&D fan and it’s always been my dream to bring all of its video game classics back to life. In 2015, I started fulfilling that dream by bringing Gold Box titles back to gamers, and now we’re continuing that dream by bringing back another serving of classics to both GOG and Steam.

Based on the later parts of the Dragonlance book, Dragons of Autumn Twilight, the heroes descend into a ruined city in search of the discs of Mishakal. The gameplay consists of side-scrolling combat with a maze-like map using doors to change the view. The party consists of the eight Heroes of the Lance, which the player can switch at any time.
