Damar Hamlin brings his adorable brother Damir, 8, to ‘The Masked Singer’ for a special treat



Damar Hamlin received a hero’s welcome along with his younger brother, damirin the March 15 episode, the masked singer. The NFL star, who was nearly killed on the football field in January, took her 8-year-old brother to ‘Sesame Street Night’ on the Fox reality show for a special treat. Damir came out and sat next to Elmo, while Damar, 24, took the stage to applause from the audience and the judges. Judge ken jeong he told Damar he was “very happy” to have come on the show for a brief appearance. “But most of all,” Ken added, “I’m so glad you’re okay. The whole world loves you.”

The Buffalo Bills security guard, dressed in a colorful hoodie and sweatpants, explained that he has decided to visit the masked singer for tonight’s episode because of his adorable annoyance. “This is my world. I put family first and he loves Sesame Street more than most things, so we had to do it tonight,” Damar told the judges.

Damar then got to work: he revealed a clue to the squirrel’s identity. The clue was a soccer ball with Ken’s face on it, which surprised the crazy rich Asians actor. Squirrel spoke up and told Ken that this “isn’t the first time we’ve worked together.” Let the theories begin!

Damar’s appearance in the masked singer it was filmed in late January and marked his first public appearance since the January 2 soccer field incident. At the time, fans weren’t sure if Damar was a contestant on the season or if he was merely making a brief cameo, which turned out to be the case. Damar has made multiple public appearances since taping the masked singerincluding when he accepted the NFL Players Association’s Alan Page Community Award on Feb. 8 for raising more than $9 million for the Chasing M.

Damar continues to recover after the accident. On January 2, the athlete passed out during the Buffalo-Bengals game after knocking down another player. Damar was in “critical condition” and was immediately hospitalized, but she was able to recover, which was a miracle. With the next football season still months away, Damar admitted he’s not quite ready to return to the sport.
