‘Shazam! Fury Of The Gods Could Make $85M Global Debut – Box Office Preview

New Line’s COVID-Delayed DC Film Shazam! wrath of the gods will finally hit theaters this weekend in 77 foreign territories and the US, with a worldwide outlook of between $80 million and $85 million, with $35 million coming domestically.

The recent sequel directed by David F. Sandberg was set to premiere on December 21st, but last August Warner Bros. decided they would not play second fiddle. Avatar: The Way of Water, and moved the sequel back to mid-March, where they now have access to Imax venues, as well as Dolby, PLF screens and moving seats.
