‘John Wick 4’ director says they’re taking a long break for a new movie

The first reviews of “John Wick 4” have already begun to appear and, faced with Keanu Reeves’ words about the future of the saga with a new confirmed installment, director Chad Stahelski came out to make statements about the franchise. In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the director Chad Stahelski reveals he has no plans for more movies ‘john wick’. The director says that both he and Keanu Reeves want to take things slowly and, given a possible delayed theatrical release in China, will wait to find out how the next chapter in the saga will be received.

He continued: “Movies, for some strange reason, always come out late in Japan. […] If this happens again, we will go on a Japanese tour. Keanu and I are going to Tokyo and we’re going to sit at the Imperial Hotel bar and we’re like ‘What do you think?’ Let’s drink a couple of old whiskeys and write some ideas on a napkin. If these ideas stick, maybe we’ll make a movie.”

Keanu Reeves will take a break with John Wick
