Review: JOHN WICK: THE CHAPTER 4 is the best and most badass film in the franchise!

John Wick: Chapter 4 is an absolute masterpiece of action-packed and breathtaking thrills that will keep the fans in suspense from start to finish. Like all of you, I’ve been madly excited about this movie, and seriously, how often do people get excited about a fourth film in a franchise?! It’s rare to find a franchise where every film released gets better and better, but the John Wick franchise has achieved that goal.

Keanu Reeves once again takes on the role of legendary hitman John Wick and delivers that fun and familiar performance we’ve come to know and love. From his impeccable martial arts skills to his effortless charisma, Reeves embodies the character of Wick with a level of roast that keeps audiences locked in and amused.

While Reeves is one of the main selling points of this film, the action sequences are truly next-level. Each fight sequence is choreographed to perfection, with a level of precision and intensity that will blow your mind. The stunts are mind-blowing and the gun-fu is some of the most exhilarating you’ll ever see on the big screen.

One of the most outstanding action scenes in the film is a stunningly choreographed car chase and fight scene set in Paris. Reeves has talked about this inventive car-fu scene before, and in it, Wick is taking on an army of killers and sending them in the most extraordinarily insane ways in the middle of heavy traffic. We got a glimpse of this scene in the trailers, but watching it in its entirety on the big screen is a pretty awesome experience!

This is just one of many action scenes where Wick uses all the tricks in and out of the book to take down his opponents.! Reeves previously said that this movie has the most action of all John Wick movie, and he’s not lying! It’s also some of the best action we’ve seen in the franchise, and it all leads up to an incredible climax. These scenes are so intricate and beautifully executed and there is amazing camerawork built in to help bring these scenes to life in incredible ways.

I just want to point out one of my favorite sequences from the film. I won’t spoil anything, but the sequence involves Wick wielding a Dragon Breathe rifle and is one of the coolest, badass action scenes you’ll ever see.

Now, let’s talk about Donnie Yen. We all know the guy is an insanely talented martial artist and the inclusion of him in chapter 4 elevate the franchise epically! He is 100% the movie MVP and you can tell he had a blast making this thing! He has several fight sequences with Reeves that are easily some of the most impressive in the franchise and in any action movie for that matter! They are brutal, complex and frenetic. Yen’s fighting style is fluid and graceful, while Reeves’ is powerful and precise, creating a perfect contrast that makes their fight scenes together unforgettable.

He also brings a level of gravity and depth to his character which adds a new layer of complexity to the film. Yen’s character is both friend and foe of John Wick, and her relationship with Wick is one of the most interesting dynamics in the film. The supporting cast is just as impressive, with standout performances by Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShaneAND Clancy Brown.

While all of this is great, the story is also rich and layered, with interesting elements that fans won’t see coming. John Wick: Chapter 4 it definitely raises the bar for action movies, and it’s one of the grandest and most exciting action movies ever made! You will love it!
