Zach Shallcross was in his four dates in his hometown with Gabi Elnicki, Ariel Frankel, Charity Lawson AND kaity biggar during the March 13 episode, The bachelor. It’s been a big week for couples, and Charity and Kaity ended their dates by telling Zach they were falling for him. Meanwhile, Ariel admitted that she “fell in love” with Zach, even though she hasn’t used the “L” word yet. However, Gabi was a little more hesitant when it came to expressing her feelings and she didn’t open up to Zach about where her feelings were.
However, Zach clearly still felt pretty strongly about his relationship with Gabi and Ariel, even though they hadn’t said the word “love” yet. Both women, along with Kaity, received roses during the rose ceremony. This left Charity without a squad and she was eliminated.
During Charity’s hometown date, her family and friends were very worried that she would be heartbroken again, especially after her last relationship in which she was cheated on. She assured them that this was a risk she was willing to take with Zach. Addressing her date, Charity was ready to tell Zach that she was falling for him, but she admitted that she had begun to “guess” her feelings after a difficult and emotional conversation with her brother. .
However, at the end of the day, Charity felt like things couldn’t have been better. After taking Zach out dancing, she was ready to express how she felt. “I didn’t think in a million years I’d be here,” she told her. “I think it’s even safe to say I’m honestly falling in love.” Zach couldn’t stop smiling afterwards. “You don’t know how beautiful it is,” she replied. “This moment here is so special.” Charity was over the moon after the meeting, adding in a confessional: “Scary as it was, I’ve never felt so free and I can say that tonight I’m going to bed probably the happiest girl in America. I see myself committed to the 1000% with Zach.
Unfortunately, Zach’s bonds with the other women were stronger and he had to follow his heart. Charity cried after finding out she didn’t get a rose and Zach followed her up to offer an explanation. “I hope you know in your heart that this is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make,” he shared her. “I had stomach pain all day. I want you to know that it wasn’t until just before. [that I decided]. And I could make the wrong decision. I know you don’t want to hear it from me, but you deserve all the love I couldn’t give you. I’m grateful to have known him.”
Charity didn’t end things badly with Zach, as she told him, “It’s hard to say those words right now, but I think I took a big risk by coming here and putting my heart on the line. I knew it from the first night, the moment you spoke and the moment I realized it was you, I knew this experience was going to be something incredible. It sure is bittersweet.” However, tearfully she admitted that Zach deleting her “didn’t make sense” to her. who should I be,” she added. “My biggest fear is that someone will say I can’t give you the love you deserve. I don’t know what that means.
Next week, Zach will have his amazing dates with Gabi, Ariel and Katy. Previews for the episode reveal what Zach says Jess Palmer that he doesn’t want to have sex in the fantasy suites, but later shares that it WAS intimate with one of the women.
