Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming epic medieval warfare film, The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Diewhich is a spin-off of his hit series The Last Kingdomwhich ran for five seasons.

Alexander Dreymon reprises his role in the film as the great warrior Uhtred of Bebbanburg, “who must once again ride through a fragmented realm with many of the series’ most beloved characters, as they fight alongside and against new allies and enemies.”
In the story, “After King Edward’s death, a battle for the crown ensues, as rival heirs and invaders vie for power. And when an alliance arrives that seeks Uhtred’s help in their plans, Uhtred must choose between those he cares most about and his dream of forming a united England.
This franchise is based on the novel series “The Saxon Stories” by Bernard Cornwell, and if you enjoyed watching the series, you will love what is in store for this film. This is definitely an exciting trailer filled with some great and brutal battle sequences, and it will lead to an epic showdown.
The film also stars Mark Rowley like Finan, Arnas Federavicius like Sihtric, Rod Hallet like Constantine, Harry Gilby, Ross Anderson, Ingrid Garcia-Jonsson, James NorthcoteAND Cavan Clerkin.
The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die was directed by Edward Bazalgette (Poldark, Class, Doctor who, Versailles, The sorcererAND The Last Kingdom). Netflix will debut the film on April 14, 2023. Excited?
