While fans wait to enjoy the epic fourth chapter of John Wick, Keanu Reeves recently shared the toughest action sequences he had to shoot for the franchise. As you know, we saw a lot of great action scenes and it was great to see Reeves and the rest of the team pull off these insanely thrilling sequences. But, speaking with Collider, Reeves talked about the most difficult:

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
“The first that came to mind was the horse sequence in chapter 3. I would say, just like the first time, the assault sequence in chapter 1. I would say the dance party brawl in chapter 2. And I would say that it is probably a link between the car sequence of the Arc de Triomphe and the sequence of the stairs in the Sacré-Cœur.”
The Arc de Triomphe car sequence and the stairs sequence in the Sacré-Cœur take place in John Wick: Chapter 4, and after watching the movie, I can understand why he chose those two. They are both amazing and I have no doubt fans will be blown away by those scenes!
Speaking earlier about the action in the upcoming film, Reeves said: “John Wick: Chapter 4 it has more action than any other [‘John Wick’] movie, which says a lot. And it’s more than a good margin. It’s a great show… ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me to be able to have what we call the toolbox.
Speaking of the car sequence that takes place in the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, Reeves also said: “We’ve taken car driving to the next level, which I really like. There are 180, 180 forward-reverse, 270 back-forward, drifting… So it was really fun to have the chance to learn these skills and play.”
In John Wick: Chapter 4Wick faces new enemies and reunites with old friends in his quest to destroy the evil High Table once and for all.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is led by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Donnie Extravagant Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, AND Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
The film will hit theaters on March 24, 2023.
