Saban Films has released a new trailer for its thriller Storm Chaser Supercell. The film is the protagonist Skeet Ulrich, Alec Baldwinand the late Anna Heche. The story centers around the storm chasers and tour companies that take people to see these crazy and dangerous storms.
As you know, we are seeing crazy weather all over the United States right now! Many storms and tornadoes are sweeping through the country.
This film centers around a teenager who is trying to follow in the footsteps of his father, who was a legendary storm chaser, and has some kind of tornado gadget that he wants to try out. It actually looks like a really good movie, and this trailer does a great job of teasing the story. It also gives off some of those Amblin movie vibes.
Baseball-sized hail, fierce winds, boiling tornadoes make supercells deadly. When William Brody was a boy, fathered by him, a legendary storm chaser, he was killed by one of them. Now, the family business belongs to Zane Rogers (Alec Baldwin), a daredevil tour operator who sees dollars where others see storm clouds. When his fate comes in the form of one of the most powerful storms on record, William leaves his mother (Anne Heche) and home to join his father’s ex-partner, Roy Cameron (Skeet Ulrich), who has barely survived a tornado. determined to go after one of nature’s most terrifying creations: “the bear’s cage”.
Supercell is directed by the director Herbert James Winterstern, who is making his feature film directorial debut. Saban Films will release Supercell in select US theaters and on VOD starting March 17, 2023.
