EXCLUSIVE: The children’s book Never forget Eleanor by New York Times bestselling author Jason June will be filmed by Unger Media.
The animated film of the same name builds on the story from the popular book, which sheds light on dementia and Alzheimer’s, as told through the eyes of a child named Elijah.
“I immediately connected with the Unger Media team because of their passion for the unifying power of stories. I know they are the perfect partner to bring my books to new audiences,” Jason June said in a statement.
This is the author and Unger Media’s latest project in development for the film adaptation of his novel YA HarperTeen Jay’s gay agenda. Unger Media CEO and Founder Jonathan Unger will also serve as EP.

Jason June is a New York Times bestselling author who writes queer novels, including YA romcom. jay’s gay agenda, and the New York Times bestseller, Out of the blue. Last month was the release of Never forget Eleanora tender picture book about Alzheimer’s.
