The team at Larian Studios recently released a new trailer for Baldur III Gate along with the announcement that the game will be available at launch on PC and PS5. There have been other announcements like JK Simmons I voice General Ketheric Thorm, but today I will concentrate on the first part. The addition of PS5 is very exciting, especially since the game will support split-screen multiplayer!

Sadly, those who play on Xbox consoles have been feeling a little down because the game hasn’t been announced for Series X|S consoles. Larian took to Reddit to fix this very problem. You can read their full post, but the point is that they are working on it, but Xbox has proven to be a little harder to get right.
They want to release it on Xbox and are working on it, but they won’t announce it for Xbox until they can get it to work better, so it might come a bit later than PC and PS5.
I think it’s great that they’re addressing this issue and not leaving everyone in the dark and thinking it’s never coming to Xbox. Us Xbox gamers might just need to be a little more patient. Baldur III Gate will launch on August 31 for PC and PS5 and is currently in early access on Steam. Hopefully Xbox follows soon.
