We don’t know who exactly she’s playing, but the part is said to be “not only significant to this film, but could also play a role in future films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

He joins a large ensemble cast which includes Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Port as Red Guardian, Julie Louis-Dreyfus as Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as an agent of the United States, Hannah John Kamen like ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and of course Florence Pug as Yelena Belova. Then, there is Harrison Fordwho is taking on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross who will become president of the United States in Captain America: New World Order. Ayo Edebiri he also joined the cast in an undisclosed role.
We don’t know much about what the Thunderbolts story will involve, but we recently learned a new detail about the Thunderbolts team from Kevin Feigeand shared that Bucky Barnes is set to lead the team in the film.
The film is directed by Jake Schreier (Paper city, Make fun of), from a screenplay by Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok, Black Widow) AND Kurt Busiek. Lightning will premiere on July 26, 2023.
