Australia’s International Awards: ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ Cate Blanchett, Austin Butler Win Big – Full List

World blockbuster Avatar: the way of water was awarded Best Film at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ 12th annual AACTA International Awards today. Check out the full list of film and television winners below.

Austin Butler continued his BAFTA triumph by winning Best Actor for the role of King elvis and the Baz Luhrmann pictures won Best Director. Cate Blanchett continued her impressive awards season with another Best Actress win for her title role tar. This is her third win in this category, having won before Carol And Blue Jasmine 2015 and 2013 respectively.

Elsewhere it was a big night before Banshees of Inisherin, which won best screenplay for writer-director Martin McDonagh and picked up awards in the Supporting Actor categories for Brendan Gleeson and Kerry Condon.

On the TV side The White Lotus was a double winner for Best Comedy Series – the second in a row – and Jennifer Coolidge for Best Actress in a Series. from Australia Mysterious street was awarded Best Drama Series.

“The Australian Academy is proud to celebrate and recognize some of the most compelling productions of the past year and to show our appreciation for the talented film practitioners who inspire and entertain us,” AACTA CEO Damian Trewhella said in said a statement.
