“Fast & Furious X”, the first part of the saga finale, ends on a cliffhanger

If normally ‘Fast & Furious’ does not fear excesses, it is not surprising that in ‘Fast & Furious X’, with which the end of the franchise begins, we see more than one heart attack moment that we will not see resolution until the last film. As if that weren’t enough, the latest issue of Empire magazine (via Digital Spy) confirms it ‘Fast & Furious X’ ends with a cliffhanger, or with a particularly tense or revealing scene or moment of absolute importance for the next installment. It is a very common resource to close chapters of films of series or sagas and thus ensure that the largest number of viewers arrive at the next appointment.

The cliffhanger is not the only thing that serves as a preview of what will happen in the last episode, Louis Leterrier, director of Fast & Furious X, explained in the same issue of Empire that the magnitude of ‘Fast & Furious 11’ is enormous . : “This is great. You know, I don’t want to exaggerate, but what we are planning for next is just gigantic, in terms of action, scope and excitement. You will feel all the feelings. The tears will fall.”

Connection with ‘Fast & Furious 5’

Despite the fact that the next two installments of “Fast & Furious” are two parts of the same ending, the plot was born following one of the favorite films of the fans of the saga: ‘Fast & Furious 5′. Dante, the antagonist of “Fast X” played by Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”), is one of Reyes’ allies, a corrupt politician from “Fast 5” who was robbed by Toretto and company. In the trailer, it is revealed that Dante was part of the legendary chase with the huge safe from the fifth film. That didn’t go very well, so more than 10 years later, he’s out for revenge.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Leterrier declares himself a fan of “Fast 5” as much as the fandom: “This is undoubtedly the best film in the series. That sure chase is the most important moment in the history of cinema.so we thought, ‘What if we see that scene through the eyes of Reyes, the people who own the safe, and Dom and Brian are the robbers who kill them?'”
