Deadpool and Shazam! they look alike in their role in the movies
Both the DC Universe and the MCU share the idea of creating crossovers with the main characters so they can collectively save the world as a team of superheroes just like in the comics, however Shazam! and Deadpool have a lot of similarities in that respect beyond just being funny.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool has nothing to do with the conflicts of the multiverse saga (yet), in the same way as Shazam! He’s remained on the edge of the DC Universe as if he’s inside another world where the Justice League doesn’t exist, which they don’t.
The premiere of ‘Shazam! 2: Fury of the Gods promises to show this character a little more involved in the world of the Justice League, while ‘Deadpool 3’ will arrive in 2024 and will finally see the character included in the MCU just like the rest of the Avengers, albeit at the moment it is unknown how Marvel will make this possible.
