The animated series “South Park” made a very cruel and funny joke about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and everything connected with them.
While no names are used in the episode, it’s pretty clear: the red-haired prince and his wife, who wore exactly the same outfit as Meghan in 2018.
The stand-alone title of the show, “World Stealth Tour,” is full of irony. In the episode, Prince introduces a book called Waaaagh, which apparently references Harry’s controversial memoir Spare, published last month.
The couple is shown in South Park, and Megan’s character says, “If we moved here, people would think we really, seriously wanted to be normal.” Their arrival in town disturbs the characters in the show, and Kyle says, “They have a huge jet parked in front of my house and they want me to get their books.”
Kyle also accused the prince’s wife of “ordering” him, saying, “I’m sick of hearing them! I can’t escape them! They’re right in front of me!”
The show then shows the couple getting into a disastrous TV interview in which the Duke of Sussex carries a sign that reads “We want privacy”. When the host asks the prince if he “hates journalists”, Harry replied, “Yeah, that’s right. We just want to be normal people – all that attention is so hard. The couple leaves the show when the host says the prince’s wife “doesn’t want privacy”.
They then go on a “We Want Privacy” tour, and after speaking to the brand manager, Harry is described as “royal prince, millionaire, world traveler, victim”. And the duke’s wife is described as “a sorority girl, an actress, a powerful person and a victim”.
After that, the prince realizes that he does not want to be a “brand” and says: “Trying to brand ourselves has only turned us into products. Now that there are no magazines and shows on Netflix, we can live a normal life.” Also, when Harry has this talk about being able to live a “normal life,” Meghan is always quiet. After the prince said what’s inside that matters, Harry checks the insides of his wife’s head, but it is absolutely empty…
