We warn you from the start, no one is willing to experience these “twists”, and not because it sounds exaggerated, but because some of them are so strong, you’ll wish you’d never seen them. These dramas have twists that not even the most observant could see coming, or could, but it’s about how they make you feel, not the surprise itself.

Released in 2010 and directed by Denis Villeneuve, this drama film has one of the most tragic twists in history. We won’t say much, but this is a woman who orders her children to deliver two letters, one for the father they never knew and one for the brother they didn’t know they had.

A very original tape for his musical concept is ‘Talaash’, by Reema Kagti. But other than that, it’s a drama-thriller with a twist no one will see coming. The story follows Surjan, an inspector who is investigating the case of the death of a movie superstar in the region, when his past comes up again to confront the protagonist. Available on Netflix.

Suspiria

Tilda Swinton, Chloé Grace Moretz, Dakota Johnson and Mia Goth star in ‘Suspiria’, a film by director Luca Guadagnino. The story follows a girl who travels to Berlin with the hopes of becoming one of her most famous dancers. To do this, she enrolls in a renowned academy, but what is hidden there is the darkest thing she could ever have imagined. Available on Amazon Prime Video.

From the mind of Aneesh Chaganty we have ‘Looking for…’, a mystery film starring John Cho. The story tells of the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl, whose investigation is opened, but after 37 hours without knowing anything about his daughter’s whereabouts, the father decides to investigate the only place where no one had thought to look, in the computer. Available on Claro, YouTube and Amazon Prime Video.

Although it went a bit unnoticed at its premiere in 2015, the story of “Focus” is worth reviewing. Starring Will Smith and Margot Robbie, who respectively bring to life a veteran artist and a novice named Nicky and Jess. Both get involved in the world of scams, but when they get romantic, things start to get complicated. Available on HBO Max and Claro.
