Vertical Entertainment has released a trailer for its upcoming legal thriller Confession. The film follows the story of a district attorney who takes on the case of a young woman who accused three men of sexual assault and, as one might suspect, her life is turned upside down.
In the film, Jillian (Clark Backo), “an up-and-coming district attorney, takes on the case of a young woman who accused three men of sexual assault. He stakes his career to uncover a deeper web of mystery, murder and deception.
Not only is his career in jeopardy, but so is his life as he unravels the dark web of the Shadow that lies beneath the surface of the city he hails from.
Michael Ironside co-stars as a veteran investigator “who dives into the complex case only to find hardship and danger galore as they hope to serve justice.” The film is also the protagonist Sarah Hay, Sterling Beaumon, Mark Cryer, Marsha DietleinAND Ray Faiola.
Confession is directed by Dayna Hanson (Club AND 13 Rooms). It will be released in select US theaters and on VOD starting March 10, 2023.
