The film delves into the powerful themes of family trauma, environmental justice and race, telling the story of a man (played by Foster) who must face the mistakes of his past as he tries to prevent a catastrophic flood in his hometown.
The film project has a great cast and a talented creative team, and it looks like it could be a good film!
This project marks a reunion between Topic Studios and Foster, who had previously worked together Debra Granik’S Leave no trace. Written by Bill Gullo, the film is produced by the Oscar nominee Jordan Horowitz (La La Land) of the original headquarters e Annie Marter (The devil all the time).
Topic Studios will finance the film, with Ryan Heller, Michael Bloom and Jennifer Westin serving as executive producers.
