One of The latest thrillers whose history you shouldn’t know is ‘Barbarian’, a horror film which gained immense popularity at the time of its release. Bill Skarsgard plays a tenant in a house where a girl arrives who had already booked the house, and in order not to leave her out, he invites her to spend the night, not knowing that her life is about to change. The cabin in the woods
Drew Goddard surprised the entire audience with “The Cabin in the Woods”, a thriller film of which it is better not to know much about its plot. We’ll just say that it follows a typical group of young people, led by Chris Hemsworth, who want to spend a weekend in an old cabin, until a series of strange events begin to occur.

If you haven’t seen Bong Joon-ho’s masterpiece yet, you probably haven’t heard what it’s about. However, ‘Parasite’ is a unpredictable thriller which follows two polar opposite families, who come together when different members are invited to work with the more opulent side, only such an unexpected event could blow everything up. hereditary
In a more horror field, we have another horror jewel, like ‘Hereditary’, by Ari Aster. The story follows a family marked by the death of their grandmother, who turns out to be part of a cult, and from that moment on, misfortunes do not stop befalling the members of this small house. Available on Netflix and HBO Max.
Rosemary’s baby
Let’s go to the classics to meet one of the most unexpected horror films. This is ‘Rosemary’s Baby’, a film by Roman Polanski, starring Mia Farrow and John Cassavetes. The story follows a newlyweds who arrive in a new apartment in New York, and where they meet strange neighbors who chase them. Available on YouTube and Amazon PrimeVideo.
Psychosis
And to finish with one of the most classic thrillers of all time, we have ‘Psycho’, by Alfred Hitchcock. The story is one of the best-known in cinematic history, and its twists and turns have been referenced endlessly, but if you haven’t seen it, know that it follows a woman who stole $40,000 dollars, and escaped.
