The film centers on a heist that “goes wrong when Crilenger (Ogg), a brilliant princely mercenary with a traumatic past, works with an insider to steal a valuable asset from the Peredor Corporation called ‘the sphere.’ The C & Earth corporation, vying for global domination, seeks to find a solution to an otherworldly technology through a scientist’s blueprint. Meanwhile, a financial analyst who despises his work at powerful investment firm Mutual One finds himself caught between deadly corporate rivals, financial fraud and technological espionage, ultimately forced on the run from a psychopathic military contractor.

Ricci has been trending lately with her roles on popular shows like Wednesday and Yellowjackets. The next movie looks like it could be a good project for her! Can’t wait to watch it!

The Dresden Sun was written and directed by Michael Ryanthe film is produced by Tyler Lockamy and Michael Ryan of Archetype Pictures.

The film is currently in post-production. VMI will present the project to buyers at the upcoming EFM. Jessica Bennett, COO Productions and Acquisitions for VMI, said in a statement: “Dresden sunshine is a whole other sci-fi world with stylized and stylish action elements with a unique overall concept. We at VMI are very excited to bring this film to market, the stellar cast and level of direction will bring the wow factor.

Ryan added: “Dresden sunshine is an allegorical story dealing with ideas and concepts ranging from corporatocracy, interdimensional reality, pain, arrested development, and apostasy.
