“Gwen is very bold. She thinks she’s a leader and she says she’s the queen of the group, which is sweet,” Ashley said. hollywood life. “I liked that joke. For me, I think I’m an extrovert. I’m pretty confident in myself and I think I learned a little bit about safety from Gwen. Her style is very bold and unique. I’m also trying to improve my style of play.”

“I think she’s fine with that. I think she’s a protective friend,” Ashley says. “Obviously she loves her brother. She is her brother, although they sometimes argue. And Leia, of course, is best friends with her. They’re just two people she loves. And if she makes them happy, she will support you.”

Now that the show is about to have a second season, you can expect Gwen to have a love interest. “So I actually asked the writers if we were going to make it to season two, what were we going to do, and they said she was going to have a boyfriend,” Ashley admitted. “I was trying to figure out who she was going to be or if it was going to be someone new. It could just be Jay, right? But if Jay and Leia continue, it won’t work. And then he should be a new character.

The actress would like to meet Gwen’s father and further explore Gwen’s “family dynamic” in season two. “I think I want to explore Gwen’s bond with Nate a little bit more and maybe do a scene with Sherri, Nate and Gwen,” she continued.

While filming the first season, Ashley said Debra Jo and Kurtwood always emphasized fun and authenticity. “I think in business in general it’s easy for people to want to influence what you wear, what you say or how you act. It’s important to be true to who you are, and then that will shine through in your character,” Ashley said. “Actually, for Gwen, she was originally portrayed as a little powerhouse with pink hair. They really changed the character to be a little more like me. So when they said to stay authentic and be true and true to yourself, I really took that to heart because they liked who I was and because of that they have changed Gwen.

Ashley noted that she’s well aware of how “skeptical people can be about reboots,” but that she’s “very happy with the response she’s getting.” I actually read the comments.
