NIGHT COURT gets a second season renewal at NBC

NBC’s reimagining of the 80s hit series Court at night got a second season renewal on the network. The series, which welcomes the show’s original star David Larrochettaeven stars The Big Bang Theory Melissa Rauch, Ana Villafañe (Minor), Lacretta (Second Act), AND Zoey’s Extraordinary PlaylistSt Kapil Talwalkar.

The new Court at night follows Judge Abby Stone (Melissa Rauch), the daughter of the late Harry Stone, as she follows in her father’s footsteps by presiding over the night shift of a Manhattan courthouse. Throughout season 1, she tries to sort out her crew of weirdos and cynics, especially former night court prosecutor Dan Fielding (John Laroquette).
