Liam Neeson is open about whether he would return war of stars or the DC Universe.
The Northern Ireland-born actor was part of the prequel war of stars trilogy in which he played Qui-Gon Jinn in the beginning Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. While Disney and Disney+ have created an entire universe around these characters, a fan recently asked Neeson if he would “appear in a spin-off prequel.”
“NO. war of starsno,” he answered the fan during a men’s health Maintenance. “As much as I admire them… There are so many of them now. So unfortunately I’m lost.”
Another fan asked Neeson if he would play a villain in Robert Pattinson’s film The dough directed by Matt Reeves.
“No, I already have Batman begins with Christian Bale,” he said. “I was Ra’s Al Ghul. He really wasn’t a bad guy. He tried to reorganize the world as it should be organized.”
Neeson starred in Christopher Nolan’s film Batman begins in 2005. Neeson refuses to return to the DC Universe when a villain emerges, while James Gunn and Peter Safran recently announced their plans for comic book-based films and TV shows.
The sequel to The dough will open on October 3, 2025 and will be part of DC Elseworlds, meaning they will be in an alternate timeline to what Safran and Gunn are up to. This part is important as part of the projects they announced to include a new version of the Dark Knight The brave and the brave.
