Dave Bautista hopes to star in a rom-com one day, but questioned his physical appearance as he was never expected to star in a film of this genre.
“I know I’m not your typical rom-com protagonist,” he said Knock on the hut the actor told Page Six. “I’m a little rough around the edges. But I always look, you know, I look in the mirror and I’m like, ‘Am I that unattractive? Is there something unattractive about me that excludes me from these parts?’”
The former WWE star added: “I don’t know. It just never stood in my way. I’ve never had an offer to do a rom-com. I still have high expectations. I just keep looking.”
Bautista is best known today for his starring role as Drax the Destroyer guardians of the universe. As part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Bautista has appeared in films such as Avengers: Infinite War, Avengers: Endgame and Thor: Love and Thunder. He will then reprise his role as Drax Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Other notable films Bautista has acted in include, but are not limited to Blade Runner 2049, Army of the Dead, Glass Onion: A Knife Story and dune. Bautista will also reprise his role in Glossu Rabban Dune: part two.
Next up is Bautista in the apocalyptic psychological horror film Knock on the hut. The film, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, is expected to end Avatar: The Way of Water reigns at the top of the box office.
