EXCLUSIVE: The White Lotus Breakthrough Sabrina Impacciatore has signed with Gersh and MGMT Entertainment for representation.
Impacciatore, one of the Italian stars of the HBO smuggler’s second season, follows the intertwined lives of staff and guests at a luxury White Lotus hotel in Sicily. The anthology, created, written, directed and directed by Mike White, had his play Valentina, the uptight resort manager who falls in love with caretaker Isabella (Eleonora Romandini). Despite being unnerved by the presence of sex worker Lucia (Simona Tabasco) and her aspiring singer Mia (Beatrice Grannò) on the premises for most of the season, she finally shares her vulnerability and a life-changing moment of physical intimacy with the latter. . Mia can then fulfill a personal dream by getting the chance to perform for hotel guests.
The White Lotus has won 10 Emmys out of 20 nominations for the two seasons to date, among numerous other awards, with Impacciatore earning their first SAG Award nomination this year as part of the ensemble.
