Ryan Gosling has been brought in to play a major role in the ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot.

Marvel Studios has been actively looking for new leads for the ‘Fantastic 4’ reboot for a few months, and while nothing has been officially announced, there’s now a new rumor that Ryan Gosling is on Kevin Feige’s radar. And is that presumably the actor of “Blade Runner 2049” could join the film in one of the most important roles.

It has long been said that Ryan Gosling may be joining the MCU, in some of the biggest roles yet to debut in the future. Like Sentry in ‘Thunderbolts’, or even ‘Nova’ in the third chapter of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. But the actor himself has been tasked with debunking all these speculations for a few months now.

However, now it rings again, but this time, Ryan Gosling could make his debut in the reboot of ‘fantastic Four’, as insider Jeff Sneider mentioned, during The Hot Mic podcast (via The Direct). The host claims he “heard” Gosling’s name in a 2025 Marvel project, but he never mentioned what role he would be involved in.

Although he would like to play Ghost Rider, as he has commented in the past, but Ryan Gosling would play a major character in ‘fantastic Four’, and that’s what you know. It is unknown whether he is the villain of the story, or one of the members of the superhero team, like Reed Richards, Johnny Storm or Ben Grimm on the big screen.

Ryan Gosling is wanted by Marvel Studios

It’s not the first time that Ryan Gosling has played Marvel Studios, because even a few days ago it was said that the Oscar-nominated actor could play Sentinel, one of the villains who will appear in “Thunderbolts”, or even a cameo in one Disney+ special. But none of this is official yet, and none of the parties involved have cleared up these rumours.

But Gosling, being one of the stars of the moment, with roles like ‘Blade Runner 2049’, Netflix’s ‘The Gray Man’ or ‘La La Land’, would obviously be in the sights of Kevin Feige and all his executives to be part of the his Marvel Cinematic Universe, the question would be when and how that will happen.

Although there are also those who argue that Gosling could play the villain of “The Fantastic 4”, the Silver Surfer, the herald of Galactus or even the Planet Eater himself. Though that seems more unlikely, since they’re characters covered by their faces, and the attraction of bringing him to the MCU is just his performance.
