‘Percy Jackson’: the Disney+ series finds its Poseidon and Zeus

Just a year ago we heard the news that Disney+ has greenlighted the Percy Jackson series. Since then the information it was revealed little by little. ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ will be played by Walker Scobell (‘Project Adam’), the rest of the cast is getting to know each other little by little. The latest of these confirmations were those of Lance Reddick (“Godzilla vs. Kong”) and Toby Stephens (“The Journey”).

Reddick and Stephens will share the cast with: Aryan Simhadri (‘Cheaper by the Dozen’), Leah Sava Jeffries (‘The Beast’), Megan Mullally (‘Oh Lucy!’), Virginia Kull (‘Parks and Recreation’), Glynn Turman (‘The Mother of the Blues ‘ ), Jason Mantzoukas (‘Dirty Grandpa’), Timm Sharp (‘On the verge’), Dior Goodjohn (‘My favorite teacher’), Olivea Morton (‘Better now’), Adam Copeland (‘Money place’), Suzanne Cryer (’10 Cloverfield Street’), Jessica Parker Kennedy (‘The Flash’) and Lin-Manuel Miranda (‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’).

Logan Lerman wanted to be Poseidon

The bond between Logan Lerman and Percy Jackson will be eternal. Even though I’m not old enough to play a teenager anymore, Lernan would have loved to be in the series but no longer with a cameo, as was rumored, but impersonating Poseidon himself.
