It was really cool to see Tobey Maguire back in action as Spider-Man Spider-Man: There’s no way back home. It’s something many fans never thought they’d see, but it happened and it would be awesome to see it happen again!

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
During a recent interview with Marvel, Maguire spoke about returning to the role of Spider-Man and his reaction to being asked to finally return after all those years, saying:
“When they initially called, I was like finally! [Laughs] I got the call and was immediately available to come and do this. Not without nerves – you know, ‘What will it be like and what will the experience be like?’ But getting to show up with beautiful, talented, creative people and play along? It’s just like, ‘Yes!’ It’s fun and exciting.
He goes on to say that he is totally ready to do it again if asked:
“I love these movies and I love all the different series. If these guys called me up and said, ‘Would you show up tonight to hang out and mess around?’ or ‘Would you show up to do this movie or read a scene or do a Spider-Man thing?’ would be a ‘yes!’ Because why wouldn’t I want to do that?
I hope Sony and Marvel end up enjoying these other Spider-Man characters again now that they’ve reintroduced them. They may have three separate live-action Spider-Man film franchises set in different universes with Tobey Maguire, Andrew GarfieldAnd Tom Holland, and I think they would all be successful with the writing and directing being strong. I’m surprised Sony Pictures hasn’t jumped on this one after the wild success of There is no way to go home.
