HBO Max cancels TITANS and DOOM PATROL after four seasons

HBO Max has announced DC shows Titans And Destiny Patrol both will come to an end after their current fourth season. With James Gunn And Peter SafranDC Studios plans come together, I thought it would because they obviously have no place in the future that they are trying to build.

Sources point out that the decision to cancel these shows is not part of cost-cutting for Warner Bros. Discovery, which they did a lot last year. The fourth season of Titans And Destiny Patrol cache consists of 12 episodes, split into two blocks of six episodes.

HBO Max shared the following statement: “While these will be the final seasons of ‘Titans’ and ‘Doom Patrol,’ we are very proud of these series and excited for fans to see their climactic finales. We are grateful to Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television for delivering such a thrilling, action-packed and heartfelt series. Thanks to the ‘Titans’ showrunner Greg Walkerexecutive producers Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldman, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, Riccardo Hatemand the Weed Road Pictures team. For “Doom Patrol,” we celebrate the showrunner Jeremy Carver and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, Chris Dingess And Tamara Becher Wilkinson. For four seasons, fans have fallen in love with ‘Titans’ and ‘Doom Patrol’, investing in their trials and tribulations and legendary battles that saved the world time and time again.

Walker said in a statement, “I am immensely proud of our talented cast, crew and writing staff and their efforts in bringing all forty-nine episodes to life over the past five years. I could not have asked for better partners in Berlanti Productions, Warner Bros. Television and HBO Max, and from the start, Geoff Johns and Akiva Goldsman. I am incredibly grateful for their unwavering trust throughout this process. Finally, I have to thank our incredible fans for their continued support, engagement, and passionate community they’ve built around our show. We still have six episodes to unleash upon the world that we hope will give our beloved characters the creative closure we all know they deserve.

I can only hope that the shows actually have a proper ending and don’t leave fans hanging with stories that aren’t wrapped up.
