Daisy Ridley (Rey in “Star Wars”) confirms she’s married

It is quite a challenge for Hollywood stars to keep their private lives secret and away from the media. There is always someone around, taking pictures and discovering new stories. But Daisy Ridley and Tom Bateman’s wedding was pretty… success by avoiding the news in the media.

If it is true that many people had noticed it (it was enough just to look at the rings worn by the couple), the fact that it could not be verified was a great achievement. The confirmation came as a surprise when the actress recently went to an interview for Rolling Stone magazine, where Ridley simply stated: “Yes! I got married” when asked about the ring. Apparently enough time has passed for them to enjoy the moment and now the couple no longer cares that their secret is known.

Ridley and Bateman met while filming “Murder on the Orient Express” and have been together ever since. 2019 was the first time the ‘Star Wars’ star was seen with a ring in her hand, and when she was approached with questions about it, she always replied that you prefer to keep your private life privateforgive the redundancy.

Why hide it?
