Trailer for Netflix’s beautiful Korean series Revenge THE GLORY

Film talent in Korea is constantly producing great movies and TV series that are worth watching! I have enjoyed many of their projects and there is a new one coming to Netflix, a revenge thriller series called The glory. Looks like it’s going to be a solid show worth checking out!

I didn’t even realize that the first part of this series had already launched on Netflix, and now they are promoting the second part. I have to jump in and start watching!

In the story, “Dong-eun is a meek and secretive teenager who lives in poverty with her mother and has no friends. At school, she is relentlessly bullied, both physically and mentally, by a group of privileged kids whose wealth and knowledge means they never see the consequences of their actions. Even her mother would rather accept bribery than hold someone at her school accountable. Though Dong-eun ultimately escapes the brutal abuse, she still lives with the scars and vows to make each of her bullies pay for what they did. As Dong-eun’s plan begins to unfold, the culprits have no idea what awaits them.”

After becoming an elementary school teacher, she takes in the son of the man who has tormented her the most and uses him for the revenge she seeks. “From now on, every single day will be a nightmare. They will be provocative and terrifying. You can’t stop me or make me disappear.” Yes, I’m in!

The series is the protagonist Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeonYeom Hye-ran, Sung Hoon ParkAnd Jung Sung-il. La Gloria is created and written by Kim Eun Sook (Descendants of the sun). Part 1 of the series is currently streaming and Part 2 will arrive on March 10, 2023.
