Earlier this week, Green Ronin Publishing announced it Fantasy AGE it will receive a second edition next month. The new edition will be launched with the Fantasy AGE core rule book which fans have known about for a while, even though we didn’t know that he was going to bring the game in a new edition. In the official announcement, Chris Prama explains the reason for the sudden change of language by calling it a second edition. In short, while the Basic regulation started out with just a couple of small changes, ended up being much bigger than originally intended. That said, he explains that first edition materials such as the Bestiary And Dens they are mostly compatible with the second edition.
love you Fantasy AGE and I’m excited for the Basic regulation. Let’s look at some of the changes. First, there’s the introduction of the Envoy, a social class that players like. There are also many aspects from the Companion Fantasy AGE which have been updated and hopefully include new races and specializations. Additionally, optional rules for Danger and Audacity have been included. There have also been some balance changes like you now get your specialization at level 1 instead of level 4. Can’t wait for the Basic regulation throw!
