Fans of “Power Rangers” will be able to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the legendary series in style thanks to Netflix. The platform recently presented the first preview of ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always’, a special that will bring together several of the protagonists of the first seasons for a new adventure. Returning Rangers include David Yost and Walter E. Jones, the former Blue and Black Rangers. A complete reunion of the original cast would have been impossible, as Thuy Trang, the Yellow Ranger, died in 2001 and Jason David Frank, the Green Ranger, died last year.

However, there are two Rangers from Season 1 who could have returned and won’t. One is Austin St. John, the original Red Ranger, and the other is Amy Jo Johnson, the first Pink Ranger. St. John hasn’t spoken yet, though his absence could have something to do with the controversy he’s been in for last year. when he was arrested for wire fraud conspiracy.

Who said something about his absence is Amy Jo Johnson. Rita Repulsa and Alpha 5 will also be part of the episode thanks to the voices of Barbara Goodson and Richard Horvitz.

Tribute to Thuy Trang and Jason David Frank

Hasbro also announced it the special will be dedicated to the memory of Jason David Frank and Thuy Trang, but have not commented on whether there will be some sort of tribute within the storyline of the chapter.
