Jeremy Renner announces his medical discharge after being hospitalized for 16 days following his accident with a snowplow. Renner arrives in time to see the season 2 premiere of ‘Mayor of Kingstown,’ available January 16 on Paramount+.

Renner, unfortunately, started the year on the wrong foot. The investment by a snowplow of almost 4,500 kilos, when he was trying to rescue a relative, led the actor to undergo two surgeries and a hospitalization in intensive care. The official diagnosis determines that Renner suffered from a chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

The actor, known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, announced the good news via Twitter. Renner uses this social network as a means of communication between himself and his fans, even when his status was “critical but stable” The interpreter shared a selfie from the hospital, updating on his improvement.

However, the perception of this promotional photo changes after the actor’s accident. With no official justification from Paramount+, everything indicates this is a change out of respect for the recent events that have rocked Renner’s personal life. The original poster was released last December and was replaced for the season 2 premiere.
