Saban Films has released a trailer for an upcoming action film war thriller titled Ambush. The film centers on a group of elite commandos, sent on a mission to gather highly classified intelligence that will change the fate of the Vietnam War.
Aaron Eckart (The dark Knight) And Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Vikings) star of the film which is described as “an intense, gritty, action-packed Vietnam War epic”. In the story “when a small outpost is ambushed, a US Army team must take the battle underground in a high-stakes mission in a new kind of warfare they have never seen.”
The film was directed by the veteran producer Mark Burmanand also act Connor Paolo, Mara Lane, Patrick R. WalkerAnd Jason Genao. There have been some great Vietnam War movies made over the years, this one doesn’t come close to the standard set by those earlier movies, but maybe it will entertain some people.
Saban Films will release the film in U.S. theaters and on VOD beginning February 24, 2023.
