The restaurant will be called Tiana’s Palace and will be located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland and the Disneyland Resort will replace the nearby French Market Restaurant. It will be a quick service restaurant that offers authentic New Orleans flavors and expands on current favorites with seasonal flavors.

The French Market restaurant, along with the fan-favorite Mint Julep bar located on the venue’s garden patio, will close on February 17. The plan is to make the transformation and reopen later this year as Tiana’s Palace, with the return of the Mint Julep Bar.

It is explained that Tiana’s Palace “will have the same dash of panache and flair” as the animated film. You can see the full concept art that was released below, which shows the restaurant’s exterior, and is said to include “stylish fixtures and appointments reminiscent of Tiana’s life and friendships.”

Disneyland’s French Market restaurant originally opened in 1966 and currently serves Southern and Cajun favorites, including jambalaya, a slow-cooked beef Po’Boy sandwich with house-made Cajun fries, and its signature half-roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Tiana’s Palace restaurant joins newly opened bayou boutique Eudora’s Chic Boutique featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets and new attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, set to open in 2024, as the last princess and the frog blooms to arrive at Disneyland Resort.
